HIV/AIDS Glossary

A product designed to simultaneously protect against multiple sexual and reproductive health issues, such as HIV and other sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancy. A variety of MPT products are under development, including vaginal rings, vaginal and rectal gels, oral pills, implants, and long-acting injectables.
