HIV/AIDS Glossary

Regional centers that conduct education and training programs for health care providers who treat people with HIV/AIDS. Training is targeted to providers who serve minority populations, the homeless, rural communities, prisoners, community and migrant health centers, and Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded sites. AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETCs) serve all 50 states and many U.S. territories.
